Job summary

ERMC Aviation is seeking a Cabin Supervisor to oversee daily cabin cleaning operations and ensure readiness for passenger boarding across flights. The role requires coordinating staff, maintaining high cleanliness standards, and supporting ramp activities.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in aviation, the ability to work in extreme conditions, and holds a valid driver's license. Security clearance eligibility is required; some shifts may extend hours to meet business needs.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Able to work in extreme conditions, hot/cold and confined spaces.
  • Eligible to receive security clearances after satisfactory background check.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of employees to ensure safe and effective operations.
  • Clean and service aircraft interiors, including cabin, cockpit, galleys, and lavatories.
  • Prepare the cabin for Customer boarding and departure, including cleaning seats, pockets, floor, galleys, and lavatories.
  • Inspect and handle cabin furnishings and supplies per specifications to keep areas free of dirt, debris, and fingerprints.
  • Assist Ramp agents when cabin cleaning is complete.
  • Perform FOD walks in ramp area between flights.
  • Ensure ground equipment is available in ramp area and bag room for upcoming flights.
  • Read and interpret weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous materials labels, manifests, and routing tags.
  • Perform other related duties within the scope of the position.

Job description

  • Supervises and coordinates daily activities of employees to ensure safe and effective operations.
  • Cleaning and servicing of aircraft interiors, including cabin, cockpit, galleys, and lavatories.
  • Helps prepare the cabin for Customer boarding and departure, which can include cleaning of seats, seat pockets, floor, galleys, and lavatories.
  • Checking, handling, assembling, removing, and installing passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies according to list specifications and cleaning must be highly detailed and specific to ensure all areas are completely free of dirt, debris, marks, fingerprints, etc.
  • Assist Ramp agents when Cabin Cleaning is complete.
  • Performs FOD walks in the ramp area between flights.
  • Ensures necessary ground equipment is available in the ramp area and bag room for upcoming flights.
  • Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous materials identification labels, aircraft loading manifest, and baggage routing tags.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
Qualifications for Cabin Supervisor
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the Aviation industry.
  • Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces.
  • Eligible to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Some shifts may require extended hours to meet business needs.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift / carry / push / pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.
  • Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
  • Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs.
  • Must be able to work in the elements; including but not limited to rain, sleet, snow, high temperatures.
