Job summary

ERMC Aviation in New York seeks a Cabin Supervisor to oversee daily cabin operations and lead the team in cleaning and service activities. You will prepare the cabin for boarding, manage furnishings, and coordinate with ramp staff to ensure on-time departures.

Qualifications

  • Four+ years of relevant supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work in extreme conditions (hot/cold) and cramped spaces.
  • Eligible to receive security clearances after background check.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Some shifts may require extended hours; able to carry heavy items.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and coordinates daily activities of employees to ensure safe operations.
  • Cleaning and servicing of aircraft interiors including cabin, galley, and lavatories.
  • Prepares cabin for boarding and departure, including seat and galley cleaning.
  • Handles cabin furnishings and supplies with attention to detail.
  • Assist Ramp agents after cabin cleaning; perform FOD walks on ramp.
  • Ensure ground equipment is available for upcoming flights.
  • Read weight/balance loading instructions and safety labels.
  • Perform other duties compatible with the role.

Responsibilities for Cabin Supervisor
  • Supervises and coordinates daily activities of employees to ensure safe and effective operations.
  • Cleaning and servicing of aircraft interiors, including cabin, cockpit, galleys, and lavatories.
  • Helps prepare the cabin for Customer boarding and departure, which can include cleaning of seats, seat pockets, floor, galleys, and lavatories.
  • Checking, handling, assembling, removing, and installing passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies according to list specifications and cleaning must be highly detailed and specific to ensure all areas are completely free of dirt, debris, marks, fingerprints, etc.
  • Assist Ramp agents when Cabin Cleaning is complete.
  • Performs FOD walks in the ramp area between flights.
  • Ensures necessary ground equipment is available in the ramp area and bag room for upcoming flights.
  • Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous materials identification labels, aircraft loading manifest, and baggage routing tags.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

  • Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.

  • Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs.
