Job summary

Kaleidoscope Innovation, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Acoustics & Vibration Engineer to advance cabin acoustics on aircraft programs.

You will collaborate with engineering experts, develop simulation models, and support lab and field tests to ensure acoustic comfort. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3–8 years of relevant experience, with knowledge of acoustics, vibrations, modeling, and measurement techniques; FE methods or sound design experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
3 to 8 years of relevant technical experience.
Knowledge in acoustics and vibrations, including modeling, measurement techniques, and signal processing.
Experience in finite element methods or sound design in buildings/halls.
Ability to plan work with long-term objectives and manage multiple activities.
Curious, critical, and innovative mindset.

Responsibilities

Create simulation models (FE, SEA, ray tracing) to optimize cabin acoustics.
Develop simulation methods and tools to push limits of models.
Set-up and participate in test campaigns in Customer Lab to validate concepts and technologies.
Plan and participate in flight and ground tests to quantify cabin acoustic comfort.
