Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems seeks a Deputy Program Manager of Operations to lead cross-functional manufacturing teams within the Airborne Systems unit, driving program execution across cost, schedule, quality, and delivery objectives.

The role requires managing budgets and schedules, applying earned value practices, and collaborating across functions to support complex defense programs. DoD security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 5 years, or Master's degree plus 3 years.
• Clearance: ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with manufacturing operations, process development and control.
• Experience with overseeing project performance, cost, scope, and schedule.
• Ability to generate, analyze, and monitor budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams within manufacturing in support of the Airborne Systems business unit.
• Responsible for the overall manufacturing execution of programs, including cost, schedule, quality, and delivery objectives.
