Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in a chemistry/physics-related field with emphasis on spectroscopy.
• Experience identifying chemical compounds from infrared spectra and spectral signature analysis.
• Experience developing or applying detection/pattern-recognition algorithms for spectral data.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, and ENVI/IDL for data analysis.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills for technical briefs.

• Operate and calibrate active and passive infrared spectrometer systems.
• Analyze and adjudicate spectral data to detect and identify chemical compounds.
• Develop, validate, and maintain spectral reference libraries and automated detection sets.
• Support real-time in-flight and post-flight analysis; QA review of data.
