Job summary

Infinity Systems Engineering in Colorado is seeking an Airborne Software Engineer to design, develop, and test embedded software for airborne mission systems in DoD programs. You will focus on C/C++ development, hardware/software integration, and testing in secure, on-site environments.

Work with systems, hardware, and test engineers; use Linux, Python for automation, and GitLab for CI. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of embedded/real-time experience with Secret clearance; team

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Typically 3+ years of software engineering experience, with emphasis on embedded, real-time, or mission-critical systems.
Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain airborne software in C/C++ for mission, sensor, and avionics-related functionality.
Interface with hardware, operating systems (Linux), and networked systems.
Develop Python scripts and utilities to support automated testing, data collection, and integration workflows.
Develop and execute unit tests and automated unit test scripts; analyze results and resolve defects.
Collaborate with systems, hardware, test, cybersecurity, and program management teams to refine requirements and design solutions.
