Job summary

Orbit Communication Systems is seeking a hands-on R&D Integration Engineer to join our Airborne SATCOM development team. You will integrate, test, troubleshoot, and validate complex airborne satellite communication systems throughout the product lifecycle.

Working with System, RF, Hardware, Software, Mechanical, and Verification groups, you will bring prototypes to qualification readiness, supporting production and customer deployments with rigorous documentation and cross-functional

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on experience in system integration, testing, or troubleshooting.
Experience with multidisciplinary electronic systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

Integrate SATCOM subsystems including RF, digital, power, networking, and control components.
Perform system bring-up on prototypes and engineering development units.
Configure and verify hardware and software components for testing and validation.
Execute integration, functional, environmental, and performance tests.
Support ATP, qualification, and acceptance testing activities.
Analyze test results and generate test reports.
Use measurement equipment for tests and develop automated test tools.
Create and maintain integration procedures, test plans, reports, and troubleshooting docs.
Collaborate with System, RF, Hardware, Software, Mechanical and Operations teams.
