Job summary

ASEC, Inc. seeks a part-time Aircraft Radar Engineer to support design, integration, testing, evaluation, and sustainment of airborne radar systems for naval aviation platforms at NAS Patuxent River, MD.

The role involves analysis, interface definition, technical reviews, performance assessment, troubleshooting, and verification activities across avionics, software, hardware, and mission systems. TS/SCI clearance is required and travel is ~10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering/technical field.
• Experience in radar, avionics, mission systems, or complex airborne electronic systems.
• Knowledge of airborne radar principles, RF systems, and signal processing.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, integration, test, and sustainment of airborne radar systems and avionics.
• Analyze radar requirements and interfaces; allocate requirements to hardware/software.
• Develop and review docs: requirements, interface control documents, specs, test plans.
