Job summary

Planned Systems International (PSI) is seeking an Airborne Mission Network FSR to support the AEMI program at Harrisburg Air National Guard Base, PA. The role focuses on resolving IT infrastructure issues, administering systems, and applying security measures for airborne mission systems.

Travel to support the customer TDY or deployed will be required; candidate must have DoD/airborne network knowledge and be eligible for required security clearances.

Qualifications

• 3 years of hands-on network / system administration experience.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification within 3 months of hire (if approved).
• Active security clearance eligibility and ability to obtain/maintain required clearances.

Responsibilities

• Resolve IT hardware and software infrastructure issues using systems analysis to ensure proper function.
• Provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and maintain security per policies.
• Apply security patches and OS upgrades to protect environment.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with airborne mission systems and network components.
• Support new infrastructure projects and maintain configuration documentation.

Overview

We are currently seeking an Airborne Mission Network FSR to work in a collaborative and innovative environment to directly support the global Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Enhanced Mission Integration (AEMI) program at Harrisburg Air National Guard Base, PA.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure (servers, network, security, etc.) issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate function of hardware, software or system functional specifications.
• Provides system administration for assigned infrastructure and establishes and maintains security as it relates to users.
• Applies security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment.
• Analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves issues with airborne mission systems including routers, switches, modems and network connectivity.
• Applies security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment.
• Supports new infrastructure projects.
• Responsible for operation and proper handling of COMSEC material and encryption devices such as SKL.
• Performs configuration and mission data entry with Harris RF equipment such as PRC-117G/152A providing multiple waveform communication options to the customer.
• Other duties required to maintain the operation and security of Airborne Mission Systems equipment and software in accordance with government and industry standard.
• Maintains all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements

• 3 years of experience in hands-on network / system administration.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification within 3 months of hire (if approved).
• Active T3 investigation, with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.
• Knowledge of Special Operations, SOCOM, and C4ISR systems and networks.
• Knowledge of DoD information assurance, policy, and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of and experience in Local Area Network (LAN) design, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustainment.
• Ability to deploy to austere locations.

Physical Demands

• Be able to lift, or assist with two person, 50 lbs.
