Job summary

NATO is seeking a Programme Director for Infrastructure and Facilities within the CAPDEV Directorate to drive lifecycle programmes across DOTMLPFI. You will lead cross‑functional teams, direct project coordinators, and coordinate with NATO entities to ensure coherent delivery of capabilities.

The role requires extensive experience in infrastructure projects, strong leadership, and the ability to work with international stakeholders across military and civilian domains.

Qualifications

  • University Degree in civil engineering or related discipline and 4 years post related experience.
  • At least 4 years proven leading role in programme management and resource experience in a large organization.
  • At least 5 years' leading experience within infrastructure and facilities Programmes within the last 10 years.
  • Experience in the infrastructure and facilities business in the military or industry or both.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the development of Infrastructure and Facilities Capability Programme Plans and ensures the delivery of programme outcomes by assessing lifecycle cost, scope, schedule, risk and performance.
  • Direct the assigned Project Coordinator(s) in their role in the development of materiel solutions for inclusion in the assigned Infrastructure and Facilities Programme Plan.
  • Ensure data is kept up to date in management information systems to support management and monitoring of infrastructure projects throughout their life-cycle.
  • Lead or support other Infrastructure Programmes/Projects as directed by the Branch Head.
  • Lead the inputs for Investment Committee (IC) related to infrastructure materiel solutions.
