Peraton is seeking an Air Traffic Training SME (Part-Time / On-Call) to design, deliver, and oversee training programs for NAS modernization under the BNATCS contract. This role offers remote work with travel to deployments and is a leadership opportunity to shape how next-gen air traffic professionals are prepared.

You will translate FAA procedures into clear training, develop instructor-led and virtual programs, collaborate with FAA SMEs, engineers, and program teams, and maintain training

Qualificações

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's with 12+ years, Master's with 10+ years, Associate with 14+, or HS diploma with 16+ years experience.
• Demonstrated experience in air traffic training and instructional design.
• Strong knowledge of FAA air traffic control operations and terminology.
• Experience creating training materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Experience delivering instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on training.
• Willingness to travel 50%.
• FAA Tower ATC experience within past 5 years.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, deliver, and evaluate air traffic and technical training programs for NAS modernization.
• Translate FAA procedures and system requirements into clear training.
• Develop or maintain instructor-led training, virtual learning, simulations, exercises, and job aids.
• Deliver classroom, virtual, and hands-on instruction to staff.
• Partner with FAA SMEs, engineers, and program teams to reflect system functionality.
• Maintain training materials, curricula, and qualification records.
• Provide subject matter expertise on FAA air traffic operations.
• Identify training risks and devise mitigation strategies with leadership.
• Maintain training records and drive continuous program improvements.
