Metis Technology Solutions Inc. is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Software Engineer to build and support a cutting-edge air traffic management simulation platform.

You will work with software developers, data engineers, and researchers to design, implement, and maintain scalable simulation software. The role requires 5–7 years in software engineering/DevOps, strong Java or OO language expertise, and solid knowledge of algorithms and data structures.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive software engineering/DevOps experience.
• 8+ years of experience developing complex, scalable applications in Java or OO languages.
• Demonstrated proficiency in algorithm design.
• Deep knowledge of data structures and data analysis.
• Strong focus on writing clean, scalable code and continuous learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain the project software.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, system administrators, and researchers.
• Automate deployment, testing, and operation processes for the platform.
• Support and enhance the air traffic management simulation and research platform.
