Job summary

CI² Aviation in Georgia seeks an experienced Air Traffic Controller to supervise the safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of traffic at a VFR airport tower. The role requires independence with supervision only for new or revised procedures.

Applicants must have a CTO certificate with a facility rating for at least two years, a Class II Medical, and be subject to DOT/FAA drug/alcohol testing. The work includes coordinating with control facilities to maintain safe arrivals and departures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Air Traffic Controller.
• Current or previous CTO Certificate and a current Class II Medical Certificate.
• CTO with facility rating for a minimum of two years in an Air Traffic Control Tower.
• DOT/FAA drug and/or alcohol testing per requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the order of departures to ensure equitable treatment and proper IFR/VFR separation.
• Determine takeoff times, directions, and any turns after departure.
• Coordinate with other controllers on movement of arrivals and departures.
• Provide on-the-job training to others as needed.
