Job summary

Smart1 Management Solutions is seeking two experienced Air Traffic Control Instructor IIs (En Route) to support training services for the Jacksonville ATCT, partnering with SAIC. The CTS Instructor role involves delivering quality classroom and simulation training to developmental air traffic controllers and CPCs.

Candidate must have five years of FAA CPC experience, U.S. citizenship for Public Trust clearance, and the ability to obtain necessary certifications.

Qualifications

• Five years of FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic or as a contract instructor at an FAA facility.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Ability to obtain radar and non-radar simulation laboratory certifications at FAA facilities.
• Strong technical skills with current ATC automation and simulation systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality classroom and simulation laboratory training to a diverse student base.
• Mentor Remote Pilot Operators (RPO) and contribute to curriculum design and development.
• Ensure training meets FAA standards and local facility needs.
