Job summary

Smart1 Management Solutions seeks an Air Traffic Control Instructor II to support the Jacksonville ATCT training program, delivering classroom and simulation instruction to developmental controllers and CPCs. The role emphasizes hands-on teaching, mentoring, and curriculum development within the CTS team.

US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance is required; FAA CPC certification or equivalent recent FAA facility teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CTS Instructor role delivering classroom and/or simulation training to developmental air traffic controllers and CPCs.
• US Citizenship required with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• FAA CPC experience or recent FAA facility contract instructor experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and simulation training for CTS students at Jacksonville ATCT.
• Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPO) during curriculum delivery.
• Contribute to curriculum design and development and obtain radar and/or non-radar simulation lab certifications.
