Job summary

Smart1 Management Solutions is seeking two part-time Air Traffic Controller INS II - JAX positions to support the Jacksonville ATCT training program with FAA collaboration.

The CTS Instructor II will deliver high-quality classroom and simulation laboratory training for developmental air traffic controllers and Certified Professional Controllers, mentoring students and shaping curriculum.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• FAA Certified Professional Controller (CPC) certification required with ability to obtain Instructor-II Simulation Laboratory Certification.
• Strong teaching and mentoring skills for diverse student groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and simulation laboratory training to developmental air traffic controllers and Certified Professional Controllers.
• Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPO) and participate in curriculum design and development.
• Demonstrate knowledge to obtain radar or non-radar simulation lab certifications at FAA facilities.
