Qualifications

• 8–12 years of FAA air traffic control experience at a Level 4 or 5 facility.
• Ability to conduct technical research, evaluations, and develop recommendations.
• Experience leading meetings and coordinating with FAA stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review aeronautical charting packages and meet charting cycle deadlines.
• Evaluate flight procedures and airspace changes, offering recommendations.
• Assess NOTAMs and GENOTs, including VIP movement support.
• Review facility directives and operational procedures for FAA compliance.
• Research and respond to air traffic inquiries from field facilities and FAA HQ.
• Support emergency and SITROOM contingency planning.
• Coordinate airspace improvement initiatives with FAA facilities and stakeholders.
• Provide technical research for congressional inquiries and special projects.
