Job Summary Details

The Air Terminal Attendant assists passengers within the terminal with general questions regarding directions, terminal services, and arranging wheelchair access. Excellent customer service is required. In some instances, air terminal attendants may function as translators and work with foreign travelers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) year of customer service or similar work experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide informational, baggage, and ticket support to passengers at departure and arrival gates
• Assist passengers with baggage check-in
• Check passengers in for flights and issue tickets
• Confirm passenger identities and provide boarding passes
• Assist passengers via phone and in person with reservations, directions, or collaborating with team members or client representatives
• Help passengers with questions about delayed or lost baggage
• Redirect or rebook customers with delayed or canceled flights
• Provide flight updates to waiting passengers
• Assist passengers with wheelchair needs or perform janitorial duties as required
• Follow safety precautions at all times

This role is suitable for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce with limited experience and education.
