Job summary

Onterris is seeking a Project Manager for our air quality team in the United States. The role focuses on NSR, PSD permitting, and regulatory analyses, with dispersion modeling using US EPA‑recommended tools and emissions inventory work.

Ideal candidates have a BS in engineering or related field, 5–7 years of air quality consulting, and strong project management skills, including timelines and budgets, plus proficiency in MS Office and relevant software.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in engineering or related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of air quality consulting experience.
• Experience as a Project Manager is highly preferred, with emphasis on timelines and budgets.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and time/expense tracking software.
• Understanding of software/tools applicable to your project (AERMOD, SCREEN3, TRI-ME).

Responsibilities

• New source review NSR, non-attainment NSR and PSD permitting.
• Regulatory air dispersion modeling using US EPA recommended models (e.g., AERMOD).
• Emission calculations and emissions inventory development.
• BACT assessments and regulatory applicability analyses (state/local/federal).
• Administrative and project management of a team of consultants.
• Quality control of personal work and projects.
• Effective communication with external and internal customers.
• Develop and maintain trusted client relationships.
• Promote integrated air consulting services externally to clients.
