Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Air Quality Project Manager to manage air permitting and compliance services across power, industrial and manufacturing industries. This role provides challenging work with significant project variety at a leading firm, with opportunities for advancement in a dynamic Air & Noise practice.

The position requires coordinating with clients and teams to ensure schedules and budgets are met, with compensation aligned to the posted range and eligibility for a year-end

Responsibilities

• Prepare air permit application packages and associated documentation.
• Conduct environmental site assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with local, state and federal air quality requirements.
• Calculate and estimate routine emissions, greenhouse gases, maintenance, start-up and shutdown emissions.
• Work with clients and team members to manage projects, budgets and timelines.
• Assist with multi-media-based questions and document preparation, such as Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, and filings pursuant to the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA).
• Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The Environmental Air Specialist / Project Manager will work within our Environmental Services Global Practice and perform the following duties:

• Prepare air permit application packages and associated documentation.
• Conduct environmental site assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with local, state and federal air quality requirements.
• Calculate and estimate routine emissions, greenhouse gases, maintenance, start-up and shutdown emissions.
• Work with clients and team members to manage projects, budgets and timelines.

Compensation

$130,000.00-310,000.00 Yearly

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
