Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Air Quality Project Manager to manage air permitting and compliance services for power, industrial, commercial, transportation and manufacturing sectors. The position requires a strong background in environmental science/engineering, regulatory knowledge, and dispersion modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field plus 7+ years of applicable experience.
• Master’s may substitute for 1 year of experience.
• Experience in air permitting, compliance, and environmental audits preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Clean Air Act and related regulations.
• Experience with dispersion modeling and environmental software helpful.

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Air Quality Project Manager to manage air permitting and compliance services to the power, industrial, commercial, transportation and manufacturing industries. This position offers challenging work with significant project variety at a successful, industry-leading company and an opportunity for advancement in a dynamic, growing Air & Noise practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related Science or Engineering degree from an accredited program plus minimum 7 years (10 years preferred) of applicable experience.
• Completion of a master's degree in a related field may be substituted for 1 year of experience.
• Previous consulting experience related to air pollution permitting and compliance and/or multimedia environmental compliance audits, environmental management systems, and report writing preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local air regulations with emphasis on the Clean Air Act, including New Source Review/Prevention of Significant Deterioration, National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants, New Source Performance Standards, Title V Permitting, Title VI Ozone Depleting Substances.
• Working knowledge of air quality dispersion models such as AERMOD, AERSCREEN, CALPUFF, VISCREEN, PLUVUE and SLAB is a plus.
• Sustainability background is a plus.
• Ability to clearly communicate both verbal and written technical information.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex requests.
• Must be proficient in the use of computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Compensation

$130,000.00-310,000.00 Yearly

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
