Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering from four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Environmental Consulting experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and basic programming.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare state and federal (Title V) permit applications and other permitting action applications.
  • Prepare Greenhouse Gas, emission inventory, Toxic Release Inventory reports, and other compliance reports.
  • Develop miscellaneous air emission calculations.
  • Assist in regulatory applicability analyses of federal and state regulations.
  • Provide on-site assistance to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Develop proposals and project reports.
  • Lead project teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide effective project management for timely work delivery.
  • Offer technical leadership on regulatory issues.
  • Develop strategies to target clients and win work.
  • Build long-term business partnerships in key sectors.

Alliance Technical Group is hiring Air Quality Project Managers to join our experienced Environmental Consulting team, serving clients in the petroleum refining, oil and gas, and chemical manufacturing industries. Role and Responsibilities
  • Preparation of state and federal (Title V) permit applications and other miscellaneous permitting action applications
  • Preparation of Greenhouse Gas, emission inventory, Toxic Release Inventory reports, and other miscellaneous compliance reports
  • Development of miscellaneous air emission calculations
  • Assistance in conducting regulatory applicability analyses of federal and state regulations
  • Potentially provide on-site assistance to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance
  • Development of proposals and miscellaneous project reports
  • Provide leadership to project teams to ensure timely, exceptional project deliverables
  • Provide effective project management to ensure efficient task performance and timely delivery of work products
  • Provide technical leadership on complex regulatory issues
  • Employ strategic approaches for identifying target clients and winning work
  • Leverages and develops relationships to build long-term business partnerships in key industry sectors
  • Maintains effective relationships with regulatory personnel in multiple jurisdictions
  • Participates in key stakeholder forums and industry groups
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Managing Director and their clients
Compensation

$80k - $130k annually, with bonus potential of 25%+

Required Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, and/or Civil Engineering from four-year college or university or foreign equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of Environmental Consulting experience
  • Must have computer literacy, including basic programming
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word) or related software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations ordinances, and policies
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
