Job summary

Alliance Technical Group seeks an Air Quality Project Manager to lead regulatory programs for clients in the petroleum refining, oil and gas, and chemical manufacturing sectors. The role involves preparing Title V permits, GHG inventories, and TRI reports, with opportunities for remote work and nationwide site assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, and/or Civil Engineering or foreign equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years environmental consulting experience
• Computer literacy including basic programming
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
• Ability to understand organization hierarchy, compensation practices, and administrative processes
• Strong time management and deadline orientation

Responsibilities

• Prepare state and federal permit applications (Title V) and other action applications
• Prepare greenhouse gas, emission inventory, and TRI reports
• Develop air emission calculations
• Analyze regulatory applicability of federal/state regulations
• Provide on-site support for regulatory compliance as needed
• Develop proposals and project reports
• Lead project teams to deliver timely, quality work
• Manage tasks to ensure efficient performance and delivery
• Provide technical leadership on regulatory issues
• Identify target clients and help win work
• Build long-term business partnerships in key sectors
• Maintain relationships with regulatory personnel across jurisdictions
• Participate in stakeholder forums and industry groups
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Managing Director
