Job summary
Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Air Quality Project Manager to manage air permitting and compliance services for power, industrial, commercial, transportation and manufacturing sectors. The position requires a strong background in environmental science/engineering, regulatory knowledge, and dispersion modeling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field plus 7+ years of applicable experience.
- Master’s may substitute for 1 year of experience.
- Experience in air permitting, compliance, and environmental audits preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Clean Air Act and related regulations.
- Experience with dispersion modeling and environmental software helpful.
Responsibilities
- Manage air permitting and compliance projects for multiple industries.
- Lead client communication and project coordination.
- Ensure regulatory compliance across states and jurisdictions.
- Prepare technical reports and air quality assessments.
- Support business development and proposal efforts.
