Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Saint Louis, MO is seeking an Assistant Environmental Engineer to support project teams from design through construction on power, water treatment, and industrial facilities. You will assist with environmental design, drawings, field data collection, and client presentations under the supervision of licensed engineers.

You should have a Bachelor’s in Environmental or Civil Engineering, internship experience, and solid knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM, and rendering tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering or related field (ABET preferred).
Internship/related consulting experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of environmental and civil engineering techniques.

Responsibilities

Assist in environmental design from conceptual phase through design completion.
Modify and review production drawings for various facilities (power plants, process facilities, etc.).
Assist in designing environmental components per project managers' requirements.
Apply standard environmental engineering concepts within the services industry.
Assist with data collection and project-related research.
