Job summary

Weaver Consultants Group is seeking an experienced Air Quality Project Manager to lead air permitting and environmental compliance projects. The role requires 7–10+ years in air quality work, strong regulatory knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to manage projects and budgets while coordinating with clients, regulators, and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or other advanced degree in Environmental/Chemical/Civil Engineering; PE or PE eligible preferred but not required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in environmental consulting with a focus on air quality.
• Advanced working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office 365.
• Understanding of NSR, Title V, PSD, NSPS, NESHAP, BACT, and related regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to coordinate and work effectively in a team.
• Ability to work independently in a remote work situation when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking capability.
• Experience with stormwater, wastewater, and solid/hazardous waste programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review air permit applications in line with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform and review emission calculations.
• Review applicability of regulations at state and federal levels.
• Prepare and submit regulatory and routine compliance reports.
• Review and analyze emissions testing results.
• Advise clients on permitting strategies and pathways to compliance.
• Routinely communicate with clients and regulators.
• Conduct site visits and support proposals and invoicing.
• Manage projects, budgets, and client/vendor relationships.
• Provide mentorship and training to staff.
