Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Environmental Licensing Air Specialist to support nuclear licensing projects nationwide. You will interface with regulatory agencies and stakeholders, gather data on site visits, prepare detailed environmental reports, and lead analyses related to NEPA and air regulations.

Responsibilities include environmental reviews, data collection, and presenting complex information to diverse audiences. Travel 5% and mentorship of junior staff are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, environmental science, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of environmental consulting, nuclear power, or related experience.
• Working knowledge of NEPA, Clean Air Act, and related regulations.
• Experience interacting with federal or state regulatory agencies.
• Experience developing environmental reports and supporting regulatory reviews.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Willingness to travel 5% of time with 3–4 day trips.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental reviews assessing potential impacts of nuclear facilities on air resources.
• Prepare environmental reports in line with NRC, NEPA, and guidelines; support licensing applications.
• Develop and present complex information to technical and non‑technical audiences; prepare proposals and qualifications statements.
• Perform air quality emissions evaluations, greenhouse gas and annual emissions reporting; support fieldwork.
• Mentor and train junior staff in project management and technical performance.
