Job summary

ERM in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an Air Quality Consultant to join a global sustainability team. You will support permitting, compliance assessments, and emissions inventories for technology, manufacturing, power, and other sectors.

Collaborating with regulators, clients, and ERM colleagues, you will deliver high-quality technical solutions, manage multiple assignments, and travel locally as needed to complete on-site work and client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in a science or engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of air quality and environmental compliance experience.
• Experience with local air districts and Title V regulatory programs.
• Ability to prepare emission inventories and permit applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a team member on projects focusing on air quality and environmental compliance.
• Prepare emission inventory reports and develop permit applications.
• Assess regulatory compliance and support environmental management systems.
• Coordinate with local regulators and clients during permit processes.
• Conduct fieldwork including data collection and environmental compliance support.
• Collaborate with ERM professionals and subcontractors for project outcomes.
