Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have or obtain MCJA Maine Law Enforcement Officer certification.
• Minimum age 21 at hire.
• Valid Maine Class C driver license required; pre- and in-service training completed or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide force protection for personnel and civilians on the base.
• Patrol bases and restricted areas to meet security requirements.
• Conduct investigations of alleged violations and complaints.
• Apprehend and/or detain suspects; issue tickets and summonses as directed.
• Perform weapons/equipment inventories and manage turn-in of assets.
• Conduct desk, alarm monitoring, dispatch, and video surveillance duties to support security operations.
