Responsibilities include day-to-day policing, security services, and investigations, with a commitment to respect, integrity, and equity in service delivery. Eligible candidates may have a Maine CJ Academy certification and must meet background requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to be certified as a Maine law enforcement officer.
• Valid Class C Maine driver’s license.
• At least one year of law enforcement or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day law enforcement duties.
• Community policing and security service delivery for the assigned shift.
• Conduct investigations and solve complex community problems.
• Complete required background checks and fitness assessments as part of the hiring process.
