AeroVironment is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer/Analyst in Maryland to execute model-based air and missile defense analyses for the Architecture Validation/International team, collaborating with international partners. The role involves using EADSIM/MDASIM, developing studies, and presenting findings at technical exchange meetings.

A Secret clearance is required, and travel may be international.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, System Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering).
• 3+ years with modeling tools supporting operations research/defense analysis/trade studies.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Engineering skills include mission-level modeling, database development, data analytics, programming, and technical writing.
• Ability to plan for model-based studies and execute complex modeling with limited guidance.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Use EADSIM/MDASIM to run system-level air and missile defense modeling.
• Collaborate with international partners; travel may be required.
• Coordinate with MDA action officers to answer data requests and support bi-lateral agreements.
• Present findings at joint forums with MDA and international partners.
• Develop study objectives and analytical approaches; design experiments for data collection and visualization.
• Analyze simulation results and prepare technical reports and briefings with conclusions and recommendations.
