Air Methods in Kearney, Nebraska, is seeking an IFR-capable pilot to join our air medical operations. The role offers a competitive base pay of $82,900 to $93,251 per year plus stipends, sign-on, and housing assistance, under a 14/14 schedule designed for work-life balance.

The position requires extensive IFR flight hours and PIC experience, with 2,000+ hours in category and 1,000+ PIC hours, plus rotor-wing turbine time.

Qualifications

• FAA IFR certification and medical clearance required.
• Two to five years of EMS flight experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
• Performs pre-flight inspections and sign-off of Daily Flight Log.
• Final authority regarding aircraft operations and safety of passengers and cargo.
• Familiar with aircraft and medical systems of backup aircraft.
