Job summary

Air Methods is seeking experienced pilots to transport medical crews and patients across operational areas, ensuring aircraft airworthiness and compliance with FAR/AIM/GOM. The role emphasizes safety, 14/14 schedule (12-hour shifts), and a strong culture focused on being the best.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal abilities with colleagues and EMS teams.
• Must have flown in the appropriate category within the last 24 months.
• Two to five years of related experience and/or training; equivalent education considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate Air Methods aircraft safely and legally.
• Complete pre-flight checks and log Daily Flight Log.
• Maintain authority over aircraft operations and passenger safety.
• Familiarize flight crew with medical systems and aircraft interiors.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Plan flights thoroughly with short notice when needed.
• Participate in meetings, projects, and community outreach.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
