Air Methods, a leader in the air medical industry, seeks exceptional pilots to join our team to serve communities 24/7. You will ensure aircraft airworthiness and safe transport within an assigned area while upholding FAR, AIM, and GOM guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with 2–5 years related experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Weight not to exceed 250 pounds and under 70 years of age per safety requirements
• Instrument rating (ATP in category)
• Fixed wing multiengine rating required for twin-engine aircraft
• Commercial single-engine land required
• First or Second Class FAA Medical certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Operates Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
• Performs pre-flight checks and sign-off of Daily Flight Log.
• Final authority with regard to operations of aircraft and safety of passengers, cargo and equipment.
• Conducts detailed flight planning with little notice to exacting standards.
• Participates in meetings, projects, committees and community outreach.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
