Job summary

Air Methods in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a clinical education and quality leader to oversee compliance, accreditation, and continuing education across the regional clinical operations.

You will mentor flight clinicians, develop learning content and simulation scenarios, and coordinate annual competency testing while collaborating with RCEM, RCD, and Medical Directors to uphold CAMTS standards and drive patient care quality across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or BSN and 5+ years of related clinical experience.
• Four+ years of flight experience and 2+ years as an instructor.
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist the RCEM with new employee orientation by: Overseeing schedules and base assignments, Providing leadership and serving as a role model to orientees and preceptors, Developing area-specific orientation training on local protocols and procedures
• Collaborate with area RCEM and RCD in maintaining mutual resources for education available to all flight crews within the region to assist with maintaining and improving clinical quality.
• Actively assist and teach in simulation labs, invasive labs, and other learning technology programs to evaluate and enhance clinical skills for new hires and experienced team members.
• Lead content development and continuing education requirements to maintain compliance and quality with all accrediting, regulating and credentialing agencies.
• Lead annual competency training and protocol testing, and provide initial training for new medical equipment and procedures.
