Job summary

FastTek Global seeks a Technical Professional II to design, develop and validate air intake systems for internal combustion engine and hybrid vehicles. You will coordinate CAD design, CAE, prototyping and testing, while managing suppliers and tracking DFMEA/DVP&R milestones.

The role requires ABET-accredited engineering degree, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple programs with occasional onsite plant support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead and manage suppliers.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and validate air intake components for ICE and hybrid vehicles.
• Coordinate CAD design, CAE, prototyping and testing activities.
• Support supplier activities and track progress to milestones and DFMEA/DVP&R.
• Provide onsite support at engine/vehicle assembly plants as needed.
• Support quality concerns and cost reduction after launch.
