Qualifications

• High school graduate or G.E.D.
• Knowledge of related computer applications
• Familiarity with basic freight forwarding procedures
• Global knowledge; Freight forwarding, country locations
• Two plus years of related experience
• Well organized, problem solver
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Increase branch profits by engaging vendors and negotiating rates to improve margins on shipments.
• Coordinate operations for air imports, processing documents and monitoring cargo clearance and delivery.
• Manage client and supplier communications, track orders and ensure timely information flow to customers and agents.
• Handle financial responsibilities, including invoicing, payments, and cost controls to meet departmental objectives.
