Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or related field.
• Prior experience in air imports and supervisory experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage importation of goods by air, including carrier selection and booking.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade laws.
• Develop relationships with customers, vendors and third-party providers.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely service delivery.
• Monitor and report on KPIs such as cargo delivery times, costs, and quality.
• Develop and implement policies to improve efficiency and quality of service.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
