Job summary

Qualifications

• BA/BS preferred or minimum 5 years supervisory experience in logistics/transportation.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and presentations).
• Extensive expertise and knowledge of logistics/supply chain, especially Air Freight.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Air Freight Export processes.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated leadership to drive KPIs and develop staff.
• Knowledge of CargoWise system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control end-to-end Air Freight processes through supervision.
• Ensure profitability and implement continuous improvement to increase efficiency.
• Manage ground cost margins and provide monthly reports and rate quotes.
• Coordinate with vendors and assist customers and overseas offices.
• Ensure invoices, bills of lading, and shipping statements are accurate; monitor KPIs.
• Hire, coach, train, and review staff; maintain employee records.
• Serve as escalation contact for air shipments and manage financials; some ocean work may be required.
• Collaborate with internal teams for seamless service and support sales calls.
