Qualifications

• Experience in Air Freight / Air Freight Export within logistics.
• Strong knowledge of US export processes and air cargo documentation.
• Experience coordinating with airlines, brokers and international partners.
• Familiarity with freight-forwarding systems, especially CargoWise.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Air Freight Export shipments from booking to departure.
• Coordinate with airlines, customs brokers, road transport providers, overseas agents and customers.
• Manage air waybills, invoices, packing lists and export declarations.
• Book cargo with airlines, monitor flight schedules and track shipments.
• Resolve shipment exceptions and communicate updates to customers and partners.
• Ensure shipments comply with US export regulations and international procedures.
• Maintain accurate shipment data in freight-forwarding systems.
• Deliver high levels of customer service in a fast-paced environment.

We’re looking for an experienced Air Freight Export Coordinator who knows the export process inside out and enjoys keeping time-critical international shipments moving.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage end-to-end Air Freight Export shipments, from booking and collection through export customs clearance and final departure.
• Coordinate with airlines, customs brokers, road transport providers, overseas agents and customers to ensure shipments move efficiently.
• Manage air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, export declarations and other relevant shipping documentation.
• Book cargo with airlines, monitor flight schedules and track shipments to ensure timely departures and onward movement.
• Resolve shipment exceptions, manage delays and proactively communicate updates to customers and overseas partners.
• Ensure shipments comply with applicable US export regulations, customs requirements and international shipping procedures.
• Maintain accurate shipment, documentation and billing information within freight-forwarding systems.
• Deliver a high level of customer service in a fast-paced freight-forwarding environment, balancing competing priorities and time-sensitive deadlines.

What we’re looking for

• Solid experience in Air Freight / Air Freight Export within freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of US export processes, air cargo operations and export customs documentation.
• Experience coordinating with airlines, customs brokers, transport providers and international freight-forwarding partners.
• Experience working with freight-forwarding systems; CargoWise experience would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• A confident communicator who can build strong relationships with customers, airlines and internal teams.
• Someone who enjoys problem-solving and taking ownership from shipment booking through to flight departure and onward coordination.
