Job summary

GC Associates USA, LLC is seeking a Medical Standards Provider to support AFPC/DP2NP at JBSA Randolph, Texas. The role involves SME-level involvement in MEB, RILO MEB, and medical hold/disposition processes for active-duty Air Force members.

The provider will interpret clinical data, recommend dispositions, and coordinate with AF medical professionals and leadership to address inquiries and ensure privacy and compliance across the process.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in military medical practice.
• Experience deploying to field conditions or deployment-related roles.
• Five years of experience with military medical standards assessments and MEB narratives.
• Experience with deployment limitation waivers and DoD processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make recommendations on active-duty AF members’ medical qualification for continued military service, using AFIs and DoD guidance.
• Evaluate medical information to recommend disposition when conditions affect assignment, deployment, or retirement.
• Interpret clinical notes to determine impact on deployment, duty station, or retention; use health databases to generate dispositions.
• Provide information to AFPC/DP2NP Chief to respond to inquiries and submit responses for approval within two duty days.
• Support review and processing of RILO MEBs to update ALC-C and medical holds; ensure patient privacy.
• Assist in transferring medical clearance reviews for inter/intra-service assignments against retention standards.
• Consult to AFPC/DPFD and EPEB to determine medical disposition when guidelines may deviate.
• Prepare documentation to meet AFPC/DP2NP standards, ensuring proper patient identifiers and timely completion.
