Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Technical Operations Engineer for its Air Defense team in Costa Mesa. The role focuses on deploying and supporting products globally, owning the technical solution from early lifecycle stages, and collaborating with engineering to drive improvements.

You will teach and learn, guide customers and account managers, and provide actionable recommendations for product refinement to engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience solving problems at the interface of hardware, software, and networking.
• Ability to climb towers to install, maintain, and repair sensor equipment and components including cameras, radars, and PTU.
• Strong mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair site infrastructure including generators and solar power systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance on tower structures and safety-critical components.
• Willingness to travel to remote regions up to 80% of the year and relocate onsite in Costa Mesa.

Responsibilities

• Support military air defense projects by executing technical operations, field maintenance, training, and customer support.
• Tackle complex hardware, software, and networking issues in unstructured environments and drive resolution.
• Communicate field issue status to internal and customer teams to keep stakeholders informed.
• Develop and implement comprehensive operational and logistical plans for events.
• Ensure high availability and performance of air defense systems and maintain plans for hardware/software.
• Assist in incident RCAs and implement preventive measures; maintain up-to-date documentation.
