Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA is seeking an Air Defense TPM to lead complex, parallel initiatives across hardware and software within the Air Defense team. You will align initiatives with strategy, allocate resources, and advocate for customer requirements while rapidly learning new concepts.

You will collaborate across engineering, product, and mission support, manage external stakeholders, and demonstrate ownership of critical programs in fast-paced, uncertain environments.

Qualifications

• Proven customer-facing technical program management and/or systems engineering experience in defense, national security, or aerospace.
• 7+ years of experience leading a technical team to field hardware or software in real environments.
• Strong ability to understand designs, SDLC, risks; works well with engineering teams.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders across a range of technical comfort.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance and travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder engagement: build relationships with clients and partners to align objectives and secure buy-in, and communicate outputs of software releases and capabilities.
• Technical ownership: drive outcomes through system performance insights, incident response, and status communication to customers.
• Strategic planning and execution: translate goals into actionable plans, set milestones, and allocate resources for successful delivery.
• Execute autonomously: handle broad, ambiguous client requirements with high ownership and reliability.
• Enable cross-team collaboration: accelerate multi-team projects with hardware, product, and test operations.
• Shape growth opportunities: support drafting technical proposals and scope scaling opportunities with accounts.
