Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville is hiring for welders at our West Bend, WI facility with air conditioning. We offer 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, shift premiums on some off shifts, and opportunities to work with robotic welding systems.

Responsibilities include setting up welds, operating MIG/TIG, inspecting parts, following blueprints, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Prior experience and dependable work ethic are valued for this team-driven shop.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required
• FANUC certification desired
• Certificate or degree in welding preferred
• At least one year welding experience or equivalent
• Successful completion of an internal welding test
• Knowledge of welding equipment and tools, including design, use, repair and maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols and safety rules
• Must be dependable

Responsibilities

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
• Inspect and measure machined work pieces to verify conformance
• Read job specifications to determine welding type and material requirements
• Maintain quality, efficiency and productivity standards
• Operate MIG and TIG welding as needed
• Unload welded frames and place on containers
• Keep work area and equipment clean and safe
