Job summary

Air General, Inc. is seeking full-time Warehouse Agents at our George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) station in Houston, TX. You will load and unload cargo, move freight between terminals and aircraft, and assist in cargo handling tasks as needed.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, be able to obtain an airport SIDA badge, lift up to 70 lbs, and communicate in English. The role includes a 4-day work week with varied shifts and potential travel for airline training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to obtain a valid airport SIDA badge.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and communicate in English.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings, background checks, and airport/government security checks.

Responsibilities

• Move air cargo within designated warehouses.
• Load and unload cargo from pallets and containers.
• Build up cargo for outbound flights.
• Break down cargo from import flights.
• Facilitate loading/unloading of cargo to/from semitrucks.
• May operate basic cargo handling equipment such as forklift and pallet jacks.
• Check freight for piece count, weight, dimensions and documents.
