Job summary

Northern Air Cargo LLC, part of the Saltchuk Family of Companies, is seeking a Customer Service Agent in Anchorage. You will serve as a brand ambassador, handling inquiries, processing shipments, quoting rates, and coordinating freight while ensuring accuracy and compliance with FAA/TSA regulations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least six months in customer service or logistics, with strong multitasking and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months related to customer service, transportation, logistics, or operational experience and/or training.
• Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and maintain a secure environment by following procedures.
• Answer incoming calls and provide detailed information.
• Promote and sell Northern Air Cargo services by identifying customer needs.
• Respond to inquiries regarding services, regulations, schedules, rates, and requirements.
• Process rate quotes, airway bills, and track shipments; arrange pickups/deliveries.
• Maintain accurate shipment and customer data in JetStream and other systems.
• Support sales and operations with customer feedback for service improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
