Intermountain Health in Wyoming is seeking an Air Ambulance Pilot to deliver rapid, life-saving transport for patients. You will operate rotorcraft under FAA rules, coordinating with medical teams to ensure safety and mission readiness.

This role requires 2,000 hours of helicopter flight time (or CAMTS equivalency), 100 hours cross-country with 25 night hours, 75 instrument hours, and 100 night hours. You must pass a 135.293 check ride within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

  • FAA pilot certificates and medical clearance required.
  • 2,000 hours total helicopter CAMTS experience or equivalent.
  • 100 hours cross-country incl. 25 hours night.
  • 75 instrument hours (actual or simulated).
  • 100 hours unaided night flight.
  • Pass a 135.293 check ride within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Operates aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and mission protocols.
  • Plans and executes flights, considering weather, weight and balance, and fuel needs.
  • Collaborates with medical staff, ground crew, and dispatch for seamless missions.
  • Responds promptly to emergency calls and maintains readiness.
  • Maintains flight and maintenance logs as required by FAA and company.
  • Represents the company professionally with patients, families, and the public.
