Job summary

Isola Group in Ridgeway, SC invites skilled operators to join the 1st shift CPP Operator team. You will operate the Rosenthal machine, set up prepreg rolls with a hoist, inspect sheets for quality, and manage roll restocking.

You will also complete production and scrap reports and contribute to a productive, safety-conscious work environment. Assigned schedule is 5:00am–1:30pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and work orders.
• Experience with SAP and shop floor data entry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up Pre Preg Roll onto the Rosenthal machine using a hoist.
• Operate the Rosenthal machine to convert prepreg rolls into sheets.
• Inspect prepreg sheets for quality and conformance.
• Relocate unused prepreg rolls back to staging for restocking.
• Complete Production and Scrap Report forms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a1st Shift CPP Operator at our Ridgeway, SC facility.

Assigned Schedule:5:00am to 1:30pm Monday to Friday (Overtime, including extended shift and weekend work required)

Compensation:$18.25 per hour

THE ROLE

The CPP Operator is responsible for operating the Rosenthal machine, which converts prepreg rolls into sheets. The position is also responsible for timely transfer of fabricated prepreg sheets in preparation for the tooling process.

TOP RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set-Up Pre Preg Roll onto machine using hoist
• Operate Rosenthal Machine
• Inspect prepreg sheets for quality
• Relocate unused prepreg roll back to staging area for restocking
• Complete Production and Scrap Report form
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous machine operating experience- preferred
• Previous experience with work instructions, work orders, and SAP- preferred

INTERNAL ELIGIBILITY

• Completion of 90-day new hire/newly transferred probationary period

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication is essential.

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS

• In this role you maybe be required to stand up to 10 hours per shift and with frequent bending, reaching, and grasping. You will also need to lift, pull or push up to 50 pounds.
