TikTok in the United States is seeking a Data Labeling Operations Specialist to strengthen labeling workflows and improve model training data. You will work with Product, Algorithm, and Labeling teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and data quality across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

About the team
The Search Operations team aims to improve search user experience, contribute significant DAU impact to the products and drive for increase in traffic and GMV. This role involves reading, viewing, listening and examining user-generated content to ensure they comply with community guidelines.

1. Collaborate closely with Product, Algorithm, and Labeling Delivery teams to align with business objectives; ensure that labeling strategies and evaluation frameworks effectively drive model performance and provide strong requirements analysis support.
2. Lead the triage, evaluation, and priority management of incoming labeling and evaluation requests; formulate robust data strategies, establish high-quality standards and QA mechanisms, and proactively identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks.
3. Track and manage project timelines to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of data requests; build continuous feedback loops and streamline request handling workflows to enhance the stability and precision of overall labeling outputs.
4. Drive the development of automated labeling and evaluation workflows to eliminate repetitive tasks and scale up operational efficiency.
5. Stay at the forefront of cutting‑edge industry methodologies for model training and evaluation; institutionalize reusable strategies and industry‑standard dataset specifications to continuously enhance framework maturity.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above
• Strong analytical reasoning, execution, and project management skills.
• Strong experience in cross‑cultural collaboration and managing global stakeholders across multiple time zones.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High learning agility and a proactive mindset, with the ability to thrive and deliver results in a fast‑paced, dynamic AI technology landscape.
• Experience with LLM prompt engineering and their applications is preferred.

Job Information

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $108000 - $208800 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
