Responsibilities

• Supervise students in the extended care program to ensure safety.
• Monitor activities, including indoor/outdoor play, homework time, snacks, and enrichment.
• Maintain positive behavior using appropriate discipline.
• Foster a welcoming, respectful, and faith-filled environment for all students.
• Assist with attendance tracking, sign-in/sign-out procedures, and parent communication.
• Support the implementation of age-appropriate recreational and educational activities.
• Ensure classrooms and activity areas remain clean, organized, and secure.
• Follow school policies related to student supervision, safety, and emergencies.
• Collaborate with administration, teachers, staff, and families to support student success.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Extended Care Director or School Administration.

Job Summary

The Extended Care Aide supports the after-school childcare program at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic School by providing a safe, nurturing, and faith-centered environment for students. The aide supervises children during extended care hours, promotes positive behavior, assists with activities and homework, and supports the school's Catholic mission through professional conduct and Christian values.

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

Working Conditions:

• Part-time position.
